More than his music, there is a reason why Johnny Cash means so much to so many.  I personally love his integrity and courage.  I love his confidence, but mainly I love the fact that he gave a voice to the unfortunate.  Firefighting in its most noble sense does the same.  We provide a hand to those who no one else could or would help.  This shirt is an homage to 'The Man In Black' and to those who wear the uniform and feel the way Johnny did.

Well you wonder why I always dress in black.  Why you never see bright colors on my back.  And why does my appearance seem to have a somber tone.  Well, there's a reason for the things that I have on. 

I wear the black for the poor and beaten down.  Livin' in the hopeless, hungry side of town.
